He is the Founder, Chairman & CEO of AFV Partners, an affirmative low-leverage capital vehicle that invests in long-term mission critical software, data and technology businesses.
Tony holds several international board, joint venture and advisory mandates as a global expert in connected mobility—with a focus on automotive, fleet, logistics and aviation—as well as the digital identity and industrial blockchain space. He currently serves as the Chairman for Aircraft Performance Group and RocketRoute Limited, and was recently named Executive Chairman of the Board of Canoo. Tony has also served as the Global Chairman of the Sportradar Group board and board member of CAMP Systems International until its sale to Hearst Communications Inc. He was the recipient of the prestigious National EY Entrepreneur of The Year™ 2013 Technology Award.
Prior, Tony founded Solera Holdings Inc. in 2005, and led it as Chairman and CEO to a $1 billion IPO in 2007, and in the following years sourced and executed over 50 acquisitions significantly expanding Solera’s TAM, and later oversaw its $6.5 billion transaction from a public-to-private business in 2016. Tony established Solera as a global technology company with over 235,000 global customers for the automotive, mobility, fleet, financial and cybersecurity industries in 90+ countries with over 7,000 employees. Tony also founded MaxMeyer (sold to PPG in 1997) and Ensera (sold to Mitchell in 2001).
